I saw on the reviews of No. 6 (Bury Your Dead) that the case was revisited. So, I had to read this. It's still unsatisfactory, but the author writes so well you can't put the book down - you have to read on to find out what happened. In addition, with this book, part of the story is set very atmospherically in Quebec City/5(2K).

I was looking through my Audible library recently and found that I did not have Chief Inspector Gamache/three Pines Book 6 BURY YOUR DEAD. I had all other of Louise Penny's novels. After finishing listening to it I believe it is my favorite of the 15 novel series.

Louise Penny and Karin Slaughter are my favorite modern detective novel writers. Bury Your Dead is the 6th in the Chief Inspector Armand Gamache series and is closely linked with the previous book, The Brutal Telling.

This is a series that benefits reading it in order, but most definitely #5 then #6 or the context will be completely lost/5. 6 lies dead in the library’s basement. The riddles of who killed him and why force Gamache and his aging mentor Emile to examine years of Québec history.

'Bury Your Dead' is the sixth book in Chief Inspector Gamache's Three Pines series. I've read them all, and this is the first one I've given 5 stars. The books really do get better as the series progresses. There are three plot lines in this novel, starting out independently and growing together toward the end.

Dead to Her is my first book from author, Sarah Pinborough, and what a wild ride. It’s all about being a second wife to a man who has cheated before. Marcie is the “cheatee,” so she has an idea about her husband, Jason/5().
